What is Vloo?
Vloo is a plant based discovery box that delivers a curated selection of snacks, pantry staples & drinks. We focus on providing exceptional value by offering a mix of well-known favourites and exciting new plant-based finds. Each box is designed to make plant-based living easy and enjoyable, delivered straight to your door for ultimate convenience.

What type of products are included?
Each Vloo box contains a variety of plant-based food items, from snacks to pantry staples. We aim to introduce our customers to both well-known and up-and-coming vegan brands. We also focus on affordability, often sourcing products close to their best-before date to reduce waste and keep costs low.

Are the boxes 100% vegan?
While we only source plant-based products, some items may have a ‘may contain’ label, indicating they are made in facilities that also process dairy, eggs, or other animal-derived ingredients. Unless clearly labelled vegan, these products are not likely to contain animal-based ingredients but may still carry a risk for strict vegans or those with allergies. If this applies to you, this box might not be the best option.

How are the products sourced?
We carefully select products from both local and international suppliers, focusing on affordability, sustainability, and supporting plant-based businesses. Many of our items are close to their best-before date, offering great savings while reducing food waste.

Can I choose the products in my box?
Vloo curates each box to offer variety and surprise. Individual product selection is not available, as the box is designed to deliver a mix of items that cater to a range of tastes and preferences.

Are the products gluten-free?
Some items in the box may be gluten-free and clearly labelled, but we cannot guarantee a specific quantity in every box. We’re working towards offering a completely gluten-free and plant-based option in the future—stay tuned!

Why do you include products close to or just past their best-before dates?
We include products close to or just past their best-before dates to help reduce food waste while offering exceptional value. These items are still perfectly safe to eat and retain their quality when stored correctly. By including them, we’re not only cutting costs for you but also supporting a more sustainable approach to food consumption.

What’s the difference between a best-before date and a use-by date?
Understanding the difference between these dates is important for food safety and quality:

-Best-Before Date: This refers to the date until which the food is expected to remain at its best quality, such as taste, texture, and freshness. Food can often still be eaten after this date if stored properly, though it might not be at its peak. It’s also legal to sell products past their best-before date in Australia as long as they’re still safe to consume.

-Use-By Date: This date indicates the last day the food is considered safe to eat. Consuming food after this date can pose health risks, and it is illegal to sell items past their use-by date. These dates are typically found on highly perishable products like dairy, fresh meals, or some pre-packaged foods.

How do I know the products in the box are safe to eat?
All items are carefully checked before packing, and we only include products that are safe to consume. Items past their best-before date are still good to eat when stored properly, but we never include anything beyond a use-by date.

What’s the shelf life of the items in the box?
Most items in the box are close to their best-before date, meaning they’re still safe and enjoyable to consume. Always check the packaging for specific storage instructions and recommended use timelines.

Can I cancel my order after placing it?
Once your order has been placed, we’re unable to cancel or modify it. This includes changes to your shipping address or the products in your order. Please double-check all details before completing your purchase to avoid any issues.

Can I find these products in stores?
Many of the items we include are available in stores or online. However, some may be harder to find or from smaller brands, making your box a unique way to discover new plant-based products.
